John Kaszuba

I am a geochemist with research interests in the interactions between fluids and rocks, particularly in energy systems. My research group focuses on fundamental science and seeks to apply new insights to problems of societal relevance.  I have a joint appointment in the Department of Geology & Geophysics and the School of Energy Resources.

I am looking for graduate students and a postdoc for projects that will investigate geochemical fluid-rock interactions in a wide range of geologic systems, including 1) shale; 2) geologic carbon sequestration; 3) petroleum systems; 4) critical minerals; and, 5) the Energy Transition.  Take a look at my Projects Page for more information.
